About the Research

FarmSync Hub is being developed as part of an Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University agricultural economics research project. The work focuses on designing, developing, and testing a usable Farm Management Information System specifically for smallholder farmers in Jos South LGA, Plateau State.

Needs assessment of smallholder farmers in Jos South LGA conducted through field surveys. Multi-stakeholder engagement with extension agents, researchers, agro-dealers, NGOs, and farmers. Iterative design and usability testing to ensure the app truly serves farmer needs. Evaluation using frameworks like the System Usability Scale and Technology Acceptance Model.
